It's not a religion. It's a cult. A wicked and vicious, and evil cult.

I wouldn't accept anything less than Jeebus appearing bodily in my living room.
You probably arent alone in hitting a bad point in life and "hearing" things, and having an experience. Im sure the Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, Aztecs etc and any other major religions from the beginning of time have had these experiences with their Gods and had personal relationships with them.
Most people today really dont believe in the reality of Roman, Greek or Egyptian Gods so does that mean that all those people were imagining hearing voices or imagining their experiences or were they all having a mass delusion?

I can only speak for myself, I cannot speak on behalf of the Egyptians ,the Romans, the Greeks or the Aztecs, or whatever other beliefs are out there. I cried out in sincerity from my heart to the God of the Universe ...... Jesus replied. From where I stand after I cease to be I can take comfort in this one thing, I asked the question. If another God was out there then he cannot blame me because He did not respond when I asked. If you have asked and have not heard a response then you to are also blameless. But if you have not sincerely asked or followed the innate desire that is in every human soul to know the truth then you have become your own worst enemy. I respect anyone who sincerity has sought or continues to seek the truth even if it is not the same belief as me. It would be foolish for anyone to follow anything on the basis of someone else's belief. The greatest gift we have received is the ability to choose therefore choose wisely.

Jeebus aint the God of the Universe. He's only the God of the Western World in the present day. Hundreds of thousands of other "God's" besides him.
How do you actually know it was him and not Zeus or Allah or Thor? Did he say "Hi This is Jesus".
You mention you didnt have any religious upbringing, yet the first thing you did when you hit a crisis was "deperately" cry out to God, so it does seem you had some kind of presupposed belief in place.

Now bad read and re-read and read again and if it still hasn't registered try a fourth time then let it be!!!!!!! Ok Mr Atheist it takes more faith to believe in nothing than it does to believe in something so basically we just differ on what we choose to put our faith. I dont argue about God ,,,, so if you have a problem with it you figure it out lmao
